And for a time, that worked.
Until the quiet voice inside grew louder. The one
that once whispered there is more… I AM MORE,
now knows it to be true. More truth to speak. More
space to take up. More impact to make. Yet that
voice can feel dangerous. So we label it
impractical. We call it timing, responsibility, or
realism. Beneath that logic is often fear. Fear of
being fully seen, of being too much, of wanting
more than feels safe. Also, the fear of outgrowing
the version of ourselves that others are
comfortable with.
Three years ago, I decided to step into that fear,
and it changed my life. I intentionally placed
myself in rooms with women who intimidated me. I
believed these women were out of my league, and
internally, I was envious, jealous, and angry at
myself for not measuring up. Instead of shrinking
away or avoiding them, I leaned in. I asked
questions, and I stayed present.
What I discovered surprised me. The pedestal they
stood on above me existed only in my mind. These
women were extraordinary, yes - but they were
also human, generous, and grounded. The distance
I felt between us was created by my belief that I
didn’t measure up or belong.
And that belief was mine to change.
The work began with choosing to see myself as
worthy, deserving, and enough. Worthy of their
The women who rise are not necessarily louder.
They are clearer. They stop negotiating their
worth internally. They stop waiting for perfect
confidence and begin moving from decision. They
build circles that reflect who they are becoming.
They trust that discomfort is not a signal to
retreat, but an invitation to expand.
If you feel a calling toward the next room, the next
stage, the next level of visibility - perhaps that is
your Fire Horse moment. Perhaps this is the year
to stop circling the table and start claiming your
seat at it. This is your year to say yes… Yes to the
room, to the stretch, and yes to the version of
yourself you have been postponing.
You don’t need more permission, training, or
letters after your name in your signature block.
You need to make a decision and then move on it.
If you’re unsure how to let go of the past and step
into your future, I understand. This is the work I
did and is now what I devote my life to…helping
women rewire old patterns, reclaim their voice,
and embody the authority they were always
meant to carry.
This may be the Year of the Fire Horse, but it
could also be your year.
The first step to making that happen - is deciding
to choose you!

proximity, worthy of the opportunities they had, and worthy of
receiving the life I desired. When I made that internal shift,
something changed. Not in them, but in me. I became open to
receiving, and I took action on that feeling. With it came connection,
collaboration, and expansion. And slowly, my external world began
to align with my belief as a reflection of that decision.
This is the part we rarely say out loud: you can only experience the
life, relationships, impact, and visibility you desire when you are
willing to believe they are available to you and actually receive them.
But belief alone is not enough. You must take action that aligns with
it. That is where growth lives. That is where courage is required. And
that is what the Year of the Fire Horse brings for women willing to
