NAVIGATE ANXIETY
TOGETHER
LET’S TALK ABOUT STRESS
Stress and anxiety usually hit hardest when
we’re under pressure. For me, that can look
like staying up late working on homework or
a big project, studying for an exam,
preparing for a presentation, or playing in
an intense volleyball match. Whether it’s
school, sports, or our own expectations—we
often carry a lot on our shoulders.
And when we do, it can feel like we’re
tearing ourselves apart from the inside out.
But here’s the good news: you’re not alone,
and there are ways to manage it.

Hi! I’m Abby and I’m thrilled to be one of
the new youth ambassadors for Lead and
Empower Her She Talks. As a high school
student, I’m passionate about using my
voice to speak up on issues that matter to
my generation. In this article, I’m opening
up about something many teens quietly
struggle with—stress and anxiety—and
sharing real strategies that have helped me
navigate the pressure. Whether you're a
teen, parent, or educator, I hope my
perspective offers encouragement,
understanding, and a few helpful tips along
the way.
